A Good Day Off
The boys had a day off of school today, and we thouroghly enjoyed it. The boys had a little Spanish lesson, and Lydia and I had a gardening session. We planted lettuce, arugula, and lavendar in my new greenhouse.
Sol is busy trying to hatch eggs. So far, she's on day 3, and she's keeping them under her. She's sitting on 6 eggs now.
See how puffed out her feathers are? We have her in a separate area of the coop, with her own food and water, that she can't get out of and the other chickens can't get into.

Glad you had a good day off-so did we! So nice to see a good picture of Malachi-it sure is hard to get one of him sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI know, he's so hard to photograph! But I did finally take him to get his 7-year-old pictures (several months late), and he did so good for the lady. He was very cooperative, maybe because his dad said he couldn't play wii until after he got his pictures done! She was also smart enough to snap 2 pictures in a row, so when he glanced away or whatever, the second one was more normal.
