Healing

Gyunay is doing quite well after yesterday's surgery.  The nurses dressed his turkey for sugery:

We went to Malachi's concert tonight, which Gyunay greatly enjoyed.  He made me nervous with his weaving among people with his fresh-from-surgery little arm.

In kitchen news, I made cranberry jelly:

It tastes good, and it's really pretty.

Yardwork

I got Lydia to help me move the pavers to mark off the garden area.

I've been working on the beds some, adding leaves and compost.

I also did some canning today.  I canned regular applesauce and something new:

That is cranberry applesauce.  I thought it would be a nice change-up, especially since it's nearly Thanksgiving.  Nathaniel bought some seconds apples, so I processed all of them into the applesauces today.

Updates and Such

The chickens are doing great.

Years ago, I bought Lego silicone molds for a Lego birthday party.  I'm still using them pretty regularly.  These are elderberry gummies, which the younger boys absolutely love.

Here are the two Halloween pictures I couldn't get to upload earlier in the month.

And here are Acorn and Maple just looking cute:
